PLAYING PED-FREE: STAND AGAINST SUBSTANCE ABUSE WITH LITTLE LEAGUE AND THE TAYLOR HOOTON FOUNDATIO

Over 1.5 million youth and young adults admit to using anabolic steroids, 12.3 million admit to using other appearance and performance enhancing drugs (APEDs), with some starting as young as 11 and 12 years old.

The Taylor Hooton Foundation has built resources for Little League® coaches, parents and volunteers to help educate them on the dangers of APEDs which include: dietary supplements (energy drinks, proteins, creatine, etc.), human growth hormone (hGH) and anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS).  Their free online training seminar opens eyes about the use of APEDs, while sharing how to recognize signs of dangerous substance abuse in your home and on your team.
